This special effect will be feasible for us to use as it is easy to obtain off the shelf or even be made at home using two common products which can be bought from any store. Secondly the price of this product is much cheaper than anything else once again showing that it is a very useful visual effect as it is cheap, easy to find and easy to use in addition to that it fits the purpose very well. Moreover what makes this product even more feasible is because it can be used so easily to create effects and giving meaning to something.

Props

The use of this special effect will be very feasible for us. First of all obtaining the required items to create and make the prop work properly are very easy for us as a water bottle can be used as everyday purpose, so it will fit with our scenes. Secondly the price is very low which once again is an advantage for us as we don't have a real budget for the production. Furthermore the use of this prop will help us create extra impact on the audience and make the scene a lot more interesting, this will be very beneficial to us as it will give it cinematic quality traits therefore meaning that yes this special effect is feasible for us to use.

Fitness for purpose

First of all I will start by explaining the scenario and then I will explain how the product fits the purpose so well. To begin, the story line for our TV show is that a young adult aged around 17 discovers powers one day which he gets out of no where and he is unable to control them. Now talking about the fitness for purpose the use of fake blood is the perfect special effect which we could use is because we could not do this in post production and there is nothing else we can use therefore fake blood not only being cheap it is easy to use and can be used to create huge significance and make a scene look a lot more intense. Moreover in order to conclude it is also very easy to find this product which is important as we may need to purchase more and being able to get it from so many stores for a price as low as £2 which shows how well it fits the purpose.

Stunt props

Finally in order to conclude I believe that this special effect will fit the purpose very well as our TV show is about a student who gains powers after a night of sleep. Furthermore the setting in which this will be used will allow for the prop to be a lot more effective and it will also relate to the atmosphere and idea of the whole TV show which is powers and how difficult his day to day life has become.

Aesthetics

When it comes to the aesthetics to our TV program makeup will come in handy as it is an aspect that will really impact the overall look of our characters and scenes. This is viable as makeup can change the look of each specific character and show every detail that is needed to be enhanced. Also, this will be viable as we have a skilled member of our production team that can make the makeup look as aesthetic as possible.

Stunt props

The aesthetics for the use of this prop will work very well with the environment in which it will be used. This is because we are planning on using this prop in a class room scene and the use of a water bottle which will fit the environment and match the aesthetics. In addition to that you could say that the use of this prop and the context in which it is used will be aesthetically pleasing for the audience to watch and will make the whole shot a lot more interesting and engaging.

I am going to be explaining the resources that I will be using and whether they will be accessable.

Makeup

When doing the makeup aspect to our production set, I will be thinking about the resource availability and whether it will be accessed on the day of filming. This will be viable as the makeup resources will be stocked and team members will have access to. Also, this will be viable as there will be multiple stocks of different makeup to create a detailed look on a character.

Stunt props

When thinking about the use of stunt props, I had to think about how accessable it would be when it comes to the production of our TV program. This will be viable as will have full access to it once it's been ordered so it can be used everyday of filming. Also, this will be viable as it will be a popular resource that will be needed throughout the production of our TV program and will be an aspect that will elevate our scenes.

Skills required

Makeup

The skills that will be required when doing makeup is creativity as we will need our characters to look as realistic to their person as possible. This will be viable as we will have full access to makeup as know close people who have makeup on them at all times. This will be useful when it comes to filming as we won't have to travel a long way just to access it even for a couple of hours. Also with access to makeup we can carry it at all times, so we are able to film on different days if we need to re-film any shots. Another skill that is required is have attention to detail. Doing makeup in our TV production will be viable as it is a skill that we have full access to, so it will be easy to create the look we intend our character to portray.

Stunt props

The skills that will be required to create stunt props are the ability to visualise what that prop will look like as well as how that prop will react to an action taking place. This is viable to an extent as we will need to order some props as they might not be available in school. Also, they might take long to arrive, so it will take back our filming time and take much longer than expected. With the use of stunt props it will elevate our scene and make it look realistic.

Permission to film

We have been given permission to film in different parts of the school to convey our story to the best standard. When it comes to filming we got permission from our media teacher to film certain scenes in the media classroom as well as being able to use a special effect to make our scenes look realistic and create an atmosphere.

We also got permission to film in our drama studio to create our paper catching fire as it is a well spaced room so there won't be any accidents. We asked our drama teacher if it is safe for us to film that certain special effect.

When it came to filming outside of school in our local park we don't need permission to film as it is already a controlled environment so we are able to film as many of our special effects without having to think about whether anyone will get injured.

Risk Assessment

Potential hazards are common when it comes to filming near busy roads or any locations which requires controls and ways to prevent an accident from happening.

Health and safety guidelines

"High standards of health and safety in production can only be achieved and maintained by everyone involved in the industry playing their part. This means recognising and accepting the different obligations and responsibilities that health and safety legislation places upon individuals or organisations." We will be taking this in consideration when it comes to filming so prevent injuries and also make sure everyone that is part of our production knows what is going on and contributes to decisions.

The effect this has on the audience is that it shows them thing are not impossible to do if you have the right props and professional experience. Also this effect makes an action look realistic and grabs the audiences attention as well as creating tension towards the audience.

Green screen (also blue screen) is the use of a single colour as a backdrop in filming to make it simpler and easier to add backgrounds, characters or other images.

It is a technique used for combining two frames or images by replacing a colour or range in one frame.

The effect this has on the audience is that it gives them a more visual sight of what they are seeing and visually catches the audiences eyes. Also another effect this has is that is makes scenes and picture look more realistic and improves the quality of an image or scene. Another effect is that it makes layers of each scene work with each other and makes everything look sharper as well as it being clear what it is supposed to be showing.

Morphing

It is in motion pictures and animations that changes one image or shape through seamless transitions.

 Valerian
The effect this has on the audience is that it shows them how something turns into another thing completely. Also this effect makes the audience visualise how a specific object turns into something completely different. This is done using computer technology which gives makes the morphing seamless and makes the transition realistic and clear as well as letting the audience know how one object is morphed into another object.

Rotoscoping

It is an animation technique that animators use to trace over motion picture footage, frame by frame, to produce a realistic action.

The effect this has on the audience is that it makes them see objects and things in the scene that are not so easy to see. Also this effect adds layers to make certain things stand out or add something in the background as a faint silhouette. Another effect of this is that it makes an image look better and look more appealing to the audience.

3D graphics

It is a three dimensional software used to give a more dynamic feel to a scene.

The effect this has on the audience is that it lets the audience see scenes in a different light. Also this effect is to make certain objects look realistic if they are not in the scene as well as giving an object dimension.
