I will be comparing on of our scenes to an actual TV program that is currently on TV. The TV program I am comparing to is The Black Lightening. I have compared this scenes to this TV show as it is the most similar and portrays many aspects that we will include in our TV show. Also, we have chosen this TV show as it is the most similar to the story line that we have come up with. We will be using this show as inspiration on how to make ours look and what content we might want to include to make it appeal to are intended target audience.

Special effects
The props that we will be using in the production of our TV program are from online and also facilities that will be provided by our teachers. When it comes to using makeup it will all be provided by ourselves as we already have access to them. We will use them effectively by watching YouTube videos to see whats the best possible way to make our makeup skills better and make the overall effect look realistic. Also, we will be using these YouTube videos to guide us to do our makeup effect to a high standard, where it clear to see what makeup effect we are trying to re-create.
Another prop that will included in our TV program is bottle. When it come to using in production we have to think about how it is going to be portrayed in our story and how it gets incorporated into the next scene. We will used this prop effectively by watching YouTube tutorials to see how you can get the best possible outcome when it comes to the different uses of bottles in scenes. This will help us with what technique works best and what looks better when it is being recorded on camera.

Evidence of applying special effects
When during the production of our TV program we had various stages we had to go through in order to make our scenes loo as realistic as possible. We had to think about how we would perceive our special effects and how we incorporated it into our scenes.
We thought about how we would film it, as well as how we would film it showing the blood in our scenes. Also, when filming the nose bleed scene we thought about how it would look on our character and how it would be shown on the video camera. In the production of our TV program, we used fake blood to portray our main character and the dangers of him having his powers. We will use the fake blood to show his damage and how he copes with the whole situation. The fake blood is used in scenes to show alarming signs of his powers getting stronger.
Evidence of filming in multiple angles
When in the production of our TV program , we had to take in consideration the different angle we were going to use. We had to think about what angles would look best and if the effect of the angle was successful or not. Also, we had to take in consideration why this angle suited this scene and how it would flow with the next scene.
I chose to use this angle shot for the entrance of the school as it was the most conveying. Also the use of different angles gave me an idea of whether the scene makes sense and if it flows coherently. We chose to do different shots for this angle as we wanted to see what would be suitable and would look best, as well as go with the whole story. I chose to film in this angle as it shows the important parts of the scene and enhances the actions of the characters as they walk past. Also, I chose this angle as it showed the characters faces the best and showed their facial expressions.

Audio levels
When it came to the sound of each video clip I had to change the audio level. This was very useful as some of the clips sound was quiet, so went on the clip and adjusted the audio level to make the audio clearer and understandable. When putting all my clips on my timeline I had to adjust the audio levels on each clip so the sound levels are the same throughout.
This was a good aspect to have as it was easy for me to manage the sound of my clips and make them sound like they are meant to when completely finished.

Sound effects
In the editing process we used many different sound effects to enhance a certain action that is happening in a scene. The way we did this was importing sound from YouTube and exporting it onto Final Cut Pro.
When it came to the sound effects and how to adjust it to the clips, I enhanced them to let the audience know what is going on and how everything should sound.
I added in sound effects to make our scenes sound better and also replace any original sound from the clip if it wasn't clear enough.

Rename rushes to order them
I am going to be explaining the reasons for creating events and how it effects the editing process of out tv program. I will also be explaining the pros and cons of doing this.

When putting all our footage onto the macs we had to create separate events for each location we filmed at. We done this to make the different locations clear so we know what order they will need to go in as well as knowing where all the re-filmed clips will need to go in later on when editing the final piece. I also did this to help the management of the editing process and the order the scenes come in when added to the timeline. Another reason for creating events is that you can find where everything is and be able to grab the clip you want straight away.

Evidence of the process of visual effects
I am going to be explaining the use of visual effects in our TV program. I will be talking about how I imported the effect and how I incorporated it into the final edit as well as how I applied it to our work.
When it came to the editing process we had to look up how to add lightning to a specific scene as it was something I wasn't experienced on how to do on Final Cut Pro. I got a lighting effect off the internet then added it to the timeline then morphed it to the scenes I wanted it to go with for the full effect. I thought this was successful as it told the story of the main characters powers and how it effected him. Also, to the audience it will show the intensity of it as well as how dangerous it would be if he's around people. I used this visual effect as I thought it went this the power that I had chosen for this scene in particular.
Evidence of post-production notes
I am going to be explaining all the post-productions actions that will need to take place for our tv program to be completed.
During the filming of our scenes we imported them onto the computer, but realised some scenes were not as how we wanted it to look. Due to this we had to re-film scenes to make them more realistic as well as have a connection with the characters trying to convey the story across. Re-filming scenes gave us a better opportunity to produce high quality footage
When deciding to re-film we had to think about the weather conditions as well as the location, whether it will be available to use again as it was shot before. The weather was the main factor on the delay of re-filming as we needed to wait for the day then decide whether it is suitable to be filmed in.
When it came to the editing process we came across many scenes that didn't flow or were off in the way they were filmed so we decided to re-film them to get a better outcome. When editing we used all the footage and then ruled out which shots looked best and would be most suitable for the scenes that comes straight after.
Evidence evaluating suitability of coverage
I am going to be explaining the suitability of each of the different clips we shot and whether they were suitable or not to be used in our edit of out TV program.
This shot had to be re-filmed as the lighting and the overall position of the camera was wrong as at the end of the shot the characters weren't shown clearly coming out of the scene. I also had to re-film this scene as there was a lot of background noise in the original footage.
The shot used for this scene was good at the first go of filming as I made sure the lighting was good so you were able to se the characters faces. Also this was a successful first shot as we took in consideration all the conditions that would occur on the day. Due to this we filmed at a time where nothing got in the way of filming and that the characters where wearing the clothes there meant to be wearing as well as the direction and position there supposed to be in.
This shot had to be re-filmed many times as they didn't look right at the angles they were filmed at. I had to re-film this scene as you couldn't see the basketball properly as well as the characters face aiming the ball. I also had re-filmed this as the lighting blacked out the characters face, so you were unable to see the characters reactions and emotions.

Evidence of recce/risk assessment
I am going to be explaining how I used our risk assessments and recce to produce our filming shots and how we are going to achieve them when it comes to the day of filming.
When it came to the production of our tv program, I used our 2 risk assessment to carefully see the risks that could happen and what to look out for. The first risk assessment was used when we filmed on the road as we didn't want to cause any injuries as well as being able to find ways to shoot a specific scenes but still having the same meaning. The second risk assessment was used in school to minimize disturbance around the school.
I used a location recce to help me decide the exact places I want to film all the shots for our TV program. I will be using this to make a judgement on whether the locations I have chosen are realistically suitable for our scenes.
Evidence set up and operate sound equipment
I am going to be explaining what sound equipment I used and what i used it specifically for.
Here, I am showing myself using a voice recorder to record that voices and specific sound that we didn't pick up in our initial filming. I used a sound recorder to pre record some of the voices if they weren't clear in the actual video recording. I used a voice recorder to achieve this as I thought is was clear when picking up specific sound and voices.
Overall, I thought this was successful as it made our sound to a high standard where it would be able to be understood as well as being clear for the audience when the final piece is complete.

Evidence of genre conventions and regulatory guidelines
I am going to be explaining the genre conventions and regulatory bodies of the production when it came to producing our TV program. I will be looking on OFCOM to find all the information.
"The procedures Ofcom follows, for example, when handling complaints about a broadcaster’s programming, or investigating whether a broadcaster has breached its licence conditions, or the rules about the content on its service."
"Details of how Ofcom publishes the decisions it reaches on complaints and investigations."
When in production of our TV program we had to take the OFCOM guidelines in considerations, so it didn't break the regulations if it were to be aired on TV as an official show. These quotes helped as a guideline of what we were able to do and how far we were able to go when the filming was in production. We had to stay within the OFCOM conditions to make it suitable for our intended audience and make sure nothing offensive is in our dialogue as well as actual footage.

Evidence of set up and operate camera and lighting
Here,
Edi is filming the park scenes. He used a tripod and DSLR camera to
film all our shots. The scenes he film were the main character on the
way to school coming toward the gate and the entrance of the school.
Also he filmed sections of the park that we would need to include in
other scenes of our TV show.
Here,
I am filming Edi talking in a scene where it shows him walking toward
to park gate. This shot is showing me filming Edi acting out parts of
different scenes in our TV programme. I am filming this from the
entrance of the park to show an establishing shot of the park as well as
showing the characters action clearer and with more emphasis.
Here, I am showing myself filming Edi in the corridors while he is acting parts from our scene. I am filming from a distance to get the whole background and create tension when it comes to editing. I am filming Edi acting in different ways and positions so show the importance of this specific scene.
Here,
I am showing myself filming in one of the school corridors. I am
showing me setting up the equipment (camera and tripod) with help from
Edi. Also it shows me going close up to the character and filming parts
of scenes from a close shot being on the floor.

Evidence use of pre-production material
I am going to be explaining the use of our storyboard when it came to editing all our clips together on the Mac computers.
Once we filmed all our shots we imported them onto the computer. When it came to editing the clips on our timeline we had to refer to our storyboard to see the order in which the clips had to come and how long each clip had to be according to your detailed storyboard. We used the storyboard as a guideline to see if we filmed all our shots or whether we were missing some that we need to film later on.
With the use of our storyboard it helped us make decisions on whether each scene was suitable to be were it was placed from the beginning. The storyboard helped us majorly with the order of our clips and seeing if we got all the right aspects in each scene to make it look realistic as well as make the story flow as it should.
